Norman began his sales career in 1967 in Cleveland at the Sales Promotion Company, a direct mail company serving the new car dealer.
In 1972, he became a Sales Manager for Protective Chemicals, Inc., and then in 1975 the National Sales Manager for Bodyguard Rustproofing Company. Both companies manufactured and marketed protective chemicals (rustproofing, paint sealant and fabric protection) to new car dealers.
In 1979, Norman formed his own company, Ferenz & Associates, Inc. in Cleveland, Ohio. As President, he began reaching out to new and used car dealerships marketing extended service contracts, credit life/disability insurance and protective chemicals.
In 1984, Norman & Company was incorporated in Cleveland, Ohio and was relocated to Clearwater, Florida in 1987 where the Classic line was created, initially to market a single GAP product. Since that time, it has expanded to incorporate over 15 different automobile related products and a proprietary reinsurance line. Norman & Company, Inc. markets its products outside of Florida through a network of several hundred independent agents.
